• 4 Hospitalized After Chain Reaction Crash Involving 4 Vehicles, Including U.S.P.S. Vehicle In Shirley: PD (patch.com) — Drivers from Shirley and nearby communities were hospitalized after a four-vehicle chain-reaction crash on Montauk Highway at Camp Upton Road, including a U.S. Postal Service truck driven by a Shirley man. The collision backed up traffic across Shirley Thursday afternoon, but all injuries were reported as non-life-threatening after the vehicles were towed and the scene cleared.
