• Man Stabs Another In Fight On Street In Shirley: Police (patch.com) — Police say a man was seriously injured after being stabbed during a street fight on West Parkview Drive in Shirley Sunday afternoon, and a Mastic Beach resident is now charged with first-degree assault. The incident was one of two stabbings in the Mastic-Shirley area over Labor Day weekend, and detectives are asking anyone with information to contact Suffolk County police or Crime Stoppers.
