SHIRLEY, NY — Information is being sought on a pickup truck that fled after a collision with a teen on an E-scooter in Shirley on Saturday night, Suffolk police said.
A 15-year-old Shirley girl was operating an electric scooter northbound on Diana Drive, when she turned right onto Robinwood Drive, and collided with a white pick-up truck with a silver trailer attached to the back at around 6:40 p.m., according to police.
The pick-up left the scene, police said.
The girl was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in East Patchogue for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury, according to police.
