MASTIC, NY — Officers are searching for a woman they say left the scene of a crash in Mastic on Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said.
A man driving a 2025 Dodge van was stopped at a stop sign and trying to turn left at the intersection of Jeanatta Avenue and Poospatuck Lane, when the vehicle was struck by a 2025 Nissan at around 8:30 a.m., according to police.
The female driver of the Nissan got out of the vehicle and fran away, eastbound on Jeanatta Avenue, police said.
No one was hurt in the crash.
