Burglar Stole Jewelry, Electronics From Mastic Home: Cops

The thief also swiped some sneakers, police say.

MASTIC BEACH, NY — A thief broke into a Mastic home and stole jewelry and other items, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Seventh Squad detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and find whoever burglarized the Main Ave. residence in December, police said.

Someone got into the house by breaking a basement window between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Dec. 7 and stole several pieces of jewelry, sneakers, and electronics, police said. Photos of the jewelry, or similar pieces, are shown above.
