Artists Showcase Reception

The Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library will continue its growing series of artist showcases with an Artist Showcase Reception on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Library’s main building in Shirley.

The public is invited to meet local artists, view a diverse collection of artwork currently on display at both the Library’s Shirley and Moriches locations, and enjoy light refreshments. Participating artists will be on hand to discuss their work and creative process.

The reception reflects the Library’s ongoing commitment to highlighting the extraordinary depth of artistic talent found throughout the Mastics, Moriches, and Shirley communities — providing local artists with opportunities to share their work with neighbors and visitors in a welcoming public setting.

Artwork will be displayed at both the Main Library, located at 407 William Floyd Parkway in Shirley, and the Moriches branch, located at 201 Montauk Highway in Moriches, allowing visitors to explore a variety of exhibits at both locations throughout May and June. The reception is open to the public and light refreshments will be served
