Car Hits Pickup Truck In Rollover Crash
A car crossed over the center median, a drainage ditch, and headed into the opposite lane, police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — A car crashed into a pickup truck in a Mastic Beach rollover crash, officials said.
According to the Mastic Beach Fire Department, at 10:30 p.m. Friday night, the fire department and Mastic Beach Ambulance Company were activated for the rollover crash in the northbound lane of William Floyd Pkwy south of Coraci Blvd. A car that was traveling southbound crossed into the northbound lane by going through the center median, or drainage ditch, and struck a pickup truck traveling northbound, overturning in the process, police said.
No further information was immediately available; the crash is under investigation, police said.
