Driver Flees 3-Vehicle Crash In Suffolk Neighborhood: Police
Officers from the 7th Precinct in Shirley are canvassing the area for the driver, Suffolk police said.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — A vehicle involved in a three-vehicle crash Sunday night in Mastic Beach drove away from the wreck, Suffolk police said.
Officers responded to a three-vehicle crash on Magnolia Drive around 6:45 p.m., and "one of the vehicles fled the scene," according to police. Officers are canvassing for the vehicle, a police spokeswoman said.
Leaving the scene of a crash is a misdemeanor.
