Suffolk Police Searching For Mastic Beach Hit-And-Run Driver
A pedestrian was struck April 21 by a dark-colored SUV on Neighborhood Road and later turned down Flower Road, police said.

MASTIC BEACH, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver of a sport-utility vehicle they say struck a pedestrian in Mastic Beach and then sped away last month.
The pedestrian was walking eastbound on Neighborhood Road, near Flower Road, at about 8 p.m. on April 21, when he was struck by a dark-colored SUV, and the vehicle was driven away southbound onto Flower Road, police said. The victim was later transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information about the crash can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, by using a mobile app that can be downloaded through the App Store or on Google Play by searching P3 Tips.
