Fire Rips Through Abandoned Home In Pre-Dawn Hours: Cops

SHIRLEY, NY — A fire ripped through a home in Shirley early Sunday morning, police said.

According to Suffolk County Police, a call came in at 2:45 a.m. about a house fire on Flintlock Drive — and it appeared the house was vacant.

Arson responded, police said.
