7 French Bulldog Puppies Snatched From Long Island Home: Cops
The pups -- two six-month-olds and five one-month-olds -- were in a detached building with their owner asleep nearby, police say.
SHIRLEY, NY — Seven French Bulldog puppies were snatched from their home during a break-in in Suffolk early Sunday morning, police said.
An unknown person or group of people broke into a detached building at a home on Concord Road in Shirley at about 3:15 a.m. and stole two six-month-old, as well as five one-month-old puppies, according to police. The owner, who was sleeping inside detached building, which is located in the rear of the property, was not awakened during the burglary, police said.
The investigation is continuing. Seventh Squad detectives are asking anyone with information on about the burglary to call them at 631-852-8752, or Crime Stoppers, a confidential police hotline at 1-800-220-TIPS.
