Gun, Kilo Of Coke, $8K Seized During Bust At Mastic Home: Cops

He had a 20-gauge shotgun, a stun gun, more than $8K and a kilo of cocaine, as well as steroids and packaging materials, cops say.

MASTIC, NY — A man was cuffed after the execution of a search warrant at his Mastic home led to the discovery of a kilo of cocaine, a shotgun, and more than $8,000 in cash, police said.

According to Suffolk County Police, Patrick O'Brien, 43, was arrested at home on Pawnee Ave. in Mastic on Thursday at 5 p.m. and charged with first degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third degree criminal possession of a weapon and fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana.

Seventh Squad detectives executed a search warrant at the residence and seized the kilo of cocaine, more than $8,000 cash, a 20-gauge shotgun, a stun gun, marijuana, five bottles of steroids, a scale and packaging materials, police said.

O’Brien was overnight at the Seventh Precinct and was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday, police said.
