Mastic Man 'Seriously Injured’ By Hit-And-Run Driver: PD
He was walking on Mastic Road when he was struck at about 1:30 a.m. by a vehicle that sped away, cops say.
MASTIC, NY — A Mastic man was struck by a hit-and-run driver and seriously injured early Sunday morning, Suffolk police said.
Jacob Rodriguez was walking on Mastic Road, just north of Cumberland Street, when he was struck at about 1:30 a.m. by a vehicle that sped away, according to police.
Rodriguez, 28, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of "serious but non-life-threatening injuries," police said.
