Long Island Fundraiser Will Sell Beers To Help Build A House

Discount beer card sales across Nassau and Suffolk will fund Habitat for Humanity's "House that Beer Built."

MIDDLE ISLAND, NY — Bottom's up for a good cause.

Habitat for Humanity of Long Island will partner with local craft breweries, bars, and distilleries, selling craft brew and spirit cards to raise money to build more affordable homes in the region, as part of "The House Beer Built" campaign.

The money will help build a new affordable home in the summer of 2023 for a deserving family dubbed “The House Beer Built.” Representatives from each of the partnering establishments will join Habitat Long Island staff and volunteers to raise the walls on the home.
