Suffolk Police are investigating an assault that occurred at a Shirley gas station early Sunday.
Police say a 29-year-old man was punched and kicked by another man at Ocean Gas located at 980 Montauk Highway at 4:20 a.m. The victim was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center by Mastic Ambulance. It's unclear how seriously he was injured.
No arrests have been made. Police did not release any other information.
