SHIRLEY, NY —A Shirley man was arrested and charged with forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child less than 17 years old, police said.

According to New York State Police, Edward Quinn, 54, was arrested on Feb. 14; the arrest stemmed from an incident which occurred on Sept. 6, 2018 in Southampton, police said.

Quinn was held for arraignment at the Southampton Justice Court, police said.
