Man Robbed In Parking Lot Of Skate Park In Mastic Beach: Police

MASTIC BEACH, NY — A man was robbed in the parking lot of the Town of Brookhaven Skate Park in Mastic Beach on Friday night, Suffolk police said.

The man told officers he had been sitting in his car at about 10:30 p.m. when a man he did not know approached him and waved what appeared to be a gun at him and then stole his cash, a police spokeswoman said. He was not harmed and did not require medical attention, she said.

No arrests have been made.

Police are investigatiung the incident as a first-degree robbery.
