Man Shot 3X During Verbal Dispute In Mastic Beach: Cops
A man drew a handgun and shot a 24-year old three times in the right leg and foot before fleeing, police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — A 24-year-old man was shot three times during a verbal dispute in Mastic Beach early Thursday, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, seventh squad detectives are investigating the incident. Two men, police said, were in front of a residence located on Daisy Drive when they became involved in a verbal dispute at 12:20 a.m., police said.
One of the men drew a handgun and shot the other man three times in the right leg and foot before fleeing the scene, police said. The injured man was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
