Man Shot, Killed In Front Of Long Island Home: Police
He was shot by someone in a car who fled the scene, police say.
NORTH BELLPORT, NY — A North Bellport man was shot and killed in front of his home Wednesday afternoon, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the incident took place on Post Avenue at 1:45 p.m. The male driver of a vehicle shot Lee Houpe, 28, who was standing outside of his residence; the driver fled in an unknown direction.
Houpe was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue where he was pronounced dead, police said.
