MASTIC, NY — A 28-year-old man was shot in Mastic on Thanksgiving night, police said.
Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating the shooting, which took place on Madison Street at 11 p.m.; the alleged gunman fled southbound on Madison Street in a blue van, police said.
The injured man was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
