Man Stole $160 In Merchandise From Family Dollar Store: Cops

He fled in a white Ford Mercury Mountaineer, police say.

MASTIC, NY — The search is on for a man who stole from the Family Dollar store in Mastic, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police's seventh precinct crime section officers are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole $170 worth of merchandise from Family Dollar, located at 1600 Montauk Highway, on Dec. 2 at 6:55 p.m., police said.

He then fled in a white Ford Mercury Mountaineer, police said. The man is described as having facial hair and wearing a blue Aéropostale hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
