Man Stole $200 Worth Of Merchandise From Rite Aid: Cops

SHIRLEY, NY — Police are searching for a man who stole around $200 worth of merchandise from Rite Aid in Shirley on New Year's day, authorities said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are asking for the public's help in locating and identifying the man who stole the assorted merchandise from the store, located at 803 Montauk Highway, at 5:15 p.m., police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by emailing www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
