Man Wanted For Fleeing Scene Of Mastic Crash: Police

MASTIC, NY — A man is wanted for leaving the scene of a crash in Mastic, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man involved in the crash, which took place on June 7 at 6:52 p.m. when a 2012 Toyota 4-Runner was struck by a silver 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse on Montauk Highway near Sterling Place, police said.
The man driving the Mitsubishi fled the scene in the vehicle, which did not have any plates, and headed eastbound on Montauk Highway, police said.

No one was injured in the crash, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
