1. The Choral Society of the Moriches will perform the Messiah Concert on Dec. 9 at the St. Jude RC Church at 89 Overlook Drive in Mastic. It should be mentioned this event is free and starts at 7:30 p.m. (Moriches Chamber of Commerce)
   
2. Looking for a fun free outing for the kids this week? No registration is required to attend the Get Crafty program at Shirley-Mastics-Moriches Community Library on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 4 p.m. Ms. Erica leads the group into assorted crafts for all. (MMSCL)
3. Jacqueline Jewett has been arrested in Connecticut for her connection with larcenies she allegedly committed on Long Island. According to the police, Jewett stole around $1 million but no further information of what or where was released by officials. (Daily Voice)
4. "Eat, drink, and be merry!" Lots of spots on Long Island will host Breakfast with Santa. If you are looking forward to spending time with the family, eating a hot meal and taking photos with Santa, visit the LI News 12 guide with events in Suffolk and Nassau County. (Long Island News12)
