Motorcyclist Dies After Crash Into Tree: Police
Police have identified the local man who lost his life Thursday night. Our hearts go out to his family.

MASTIC BEACH, NY — A Mastic Beach man has died after a crash on Woodland Drive Thursday night, police said.
Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating the crash that took place near Queen Road at 7:35 p.m., police said.
Joseph Marigliano, 48, was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control and crashed into a tree; he was transported by Mastic Beach Ambulance to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
