Officers Respond To Stabbing In Mastic Beach: Cops
Although social media reports there was a stabbing at the location, police could not confirm any details
MASTIC BEACH, NY — Authorities responded to a stabbing on Neighborhood Road in Mastic Beach Sunday night, police said.
Suffolk County Police 7th Squad detectives are investigating a stabbing that occurred on Neighborhood Drive in Mastic Beach at approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday, police said. A 27-year old man suffered a minor injury after being stabbed by an unknown man; he was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released, police said.
Residents reported a road closure in the area of the stabbing, in front of a laundromat.
