Powerball Ticket Worth $50,000 Sold In Ridge

It was one of four third prize tickets sold in New York, and one of two in Suffolk County.

RIDGE, NY — One of four third-prize tickets worth $50,000 for Wednesday's Powerball drawing was purchased in Ridge, New York Lottery officials announced.

The prize-winning ticket, which has four matching numbers and the Powerball, was purchased at the Alisan 2 Corporation on Middle Country Road in Ridge, officials said. The three other tickets were purchased at the Midpoint Mart in Islip, Spring Iconic Sweet Mart on Spring Street in Manhattan, and the Krishna Bazaar on Liberty Avenue in Brooklyn, according to officials.

The winning numbers for the drawing are 19-36-37-46-56 with 24 as the Powerball.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69, while the Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26. The drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11 p.m.

The jackpot for Saturday's drawing is an estimated $800 million.
