Search On For Missing Mastic Beach Teen

Police are asking for the public's help to find a teen missing since November. Please share her photo and help to bring her back safely.

MASTIC BEACH, NY — The search is on for a Mastic Beach teen missing since November.

The Suffolk County Police Department's Seventh Squad detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating Hannah Simpson, 16, who was reported missing on Nov. 8 by her mother, police said.

Simpson is considered a runaway who fled prior to being taken into foster care by Suffolk County Child Protective Services, police said.

Simpson had previously been staying with a family member on Hemlock Drive in Mastic Beach and attending William Floyd High School. She is white, 5'2" tall, 125 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes; she has a birthmark on her right shoulder.

Anyone with information on Simpson’s location is asked to call 911 or the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
