Search On For Woman Who Stole From Dollar Store: Police

MASTIC, NY — The search is on for a woman who stole from a local dollar store, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk County Police Department's seventh precinct crime section officers are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who stole two containers of Tide Pods from Family Dollar, located at 1600 Montauk Highway, on Sept. 5 at at 1:45 p.m., police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or emailing www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
