Set To Open Soon, Home Goods At South Port Shopping Center, In Shirley Is Hiring Employees

SHIRLEY, NY — The latest local Home Goods store in eastern Suffolk County, which is slated for the South Port Shopping Center, is hiring, according to signage at the center.

The location has been under construction, with an expected opening this fall, sometime between late September and early October, a rep for the property owner previously told Patch.

Nearby stores include Riverhead, Patchogue, Stony Brook, and Port Jefferson Station.

Home Goods sells discounted housewares, such as furniture, bedding, rugs, and pet supplies.

Michael's left the spot, which is adjacent to Old Navy, last spring.
