Shirley Teenager Reported Missing Found: Police

Updated 5 p.m. Friday, April 7: Benjamin Allen Jones, 16, of Shirley, who had last been seen on Saturday and was reported missing on Monday, was found unharmed, police announced Friday morning.

SHIRLEY, NY — A Shirley teenager was reported missing after he was last seen leaving his home on Saturday night, Suffolk police said.

Benjamin Allen Jones, 16, was last seen leaving his Floyd Road home around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, police said. He was reported missing at 10 a.m. Monday after he did not return home this weekend, police said.
Police described Jones as Caucasian, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 110 pounds. He has curly brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey "Nike" sweatshirt and dark pants.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Jones's location to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752 or call 911.
