Suffolk Arrest Report: Dec. 31

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — All of the following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department.

A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

First Precinct

• Dec. 27: John Black, 40, of Wheatley Heights was arrested in Wheatley Heights and was charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal contempt.
• Dec. 27: Craig Cognat, 38, of Lindenhurst was arrested in Lindenhurst and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs or alcohol for which he has been previously convicted within the last 10 years. Cognat was additionally charged with circumventing an ignition interlock device, and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Second Precinct

• Dec. 22: A 17-year-old from Huntington Station was arrested in Huntington Station and was charged with first-degree rape.
• Dec. 21: Harle Carranzalagos, 34, of Huntington Station was arrested in Huntington Station and was charged with forcible touching.
• Dec. 21: James Kenny, 29, of Patchogue was arrested in Islandia and was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a narcotic drug.

Third Precinct

• Dec. 28: Vernon Odom, 60, of Brentwood was arrested in Brentwood and was charged with eleven counts of third-degree burglary. He was additionally charged with criminal mischief.

Fourth Precinct

• Dec. 28: Natasha Griffin, 40, of Central Islip was arrested in Lake Grove and was charged with third-degree burglary.
• Dec. 27: Brian Moran, 53, of Burlington, NC was arrested in Hauppauge and was charged with fifth-degree conspiracy.
• Dec. 27: Christopher Volpe, 43, of Commack was arrested in Commack and was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He has a previous conviction, according to the charge.

Fifth Precinct

• Dec. 29: Cesar Galindomorales, 40, of Central Islip was arrested in Oakdale and was charged with acting in a manner to injure a child.
• Dec. 21: Keith Fields, 43, of Patchogue was arrested in Patchogue and was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He had a defaced weapon, according to the charge.

Sixth Precinct

• Dec. 29: William Bell Jr, 48, of Middle Island was arrested in Coram and was charged with third-degree fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle and criminal possession of stolen property.
• Dec. 28: Ashley Padula, 19, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested in Port Jefferson Station and was charged with unlawful publication of an intimate image.
• Dec. 27: Kara McKelvey, 30, of Bayport was arrested in Coram and was charged with first-degree identity theft.
• Dec. 24: Mark Miller, 21, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested in Port Jefferson Station and was charged with first-degree robbery. Miller displayed a gun in a robbery, according to the charge.

Seventh Precinct

• Dec. 22: Andre Harvey, 43, of Bay Shore was arrested in Shirley and was charged with three counts of first-degree criminal sex act with a child. The child was under the age of 13, according to the charge.
