Here are the top three stories today in Shirley-Mastic:

1. The Suffolk County Government has released its most recent COVID-19 data, collected as of Jun. 3. Community transmission is currently considered high, with an 8.7 percent positive testing rate in Suffolk County. As of the date of collection, 188 individuals were hospitalized, with 47 percent hospitalized due to COVID-19 or related complications. (Press Release Desk)
2. As of Monday afternoon, authorities are still searching for a teenager missing from Riverhead, 20 minutes outside Shirley. 18-year-old Eianna Delorantis was last seen on the grounds of the Little Flower Children's Services facility in Wading River on Friday. Anyone with information on Delorantis' whereabouts is asked to call the Riverhead Town Police Department at 631-727-4500. (Patch)
