Suffolk Police Investigating Shots Fired At Poospatuck Reservation On Sunday
Shell casings were found, though there was no evidence of anything being struck, police spokeswoman says.
MASTIC, NY — Suffolk police are investigating an incident in which shots were fired outside of a smoke shop on the Poospatuck Reservation in Mastic on Sunday afternoon, a spokeswoman said.
The shots were fired at 2:40 p.m., and shell casings were found on Squaw Lane, though there is no evidence of anything being struck, according to police.
No one was hurt in the shooting, police said.

Posts on social media showed police searching the area with a k-9 unit.
