Staying safe in today’s world

Stay Left of Bang. Be a people reader.

Left of Bang is a safe place. A place where life is lived and for the most part, good.

Bang and everything to the right of it is bad.

Lives are upended, trauma, darkness, life-long injuries, and even death.

You look at people everyday and if you don’t, you should.

Not just look, but listen……with your eyes.

Because behavior speaks volumes.

Listen to what the face says, hands, eyes, clothing, they are all speaking.

Keep your head out of your electronic devices to see more of your surroundings.

You’ll be able to improve your posture, stand taller and look more confident.

You see it on the news almost daily, people getting punched, pushed and walloped.

Many are simply distracted.

Look at those news clips and picture yourself in that victim’s shoes.

Better yet, picture your son, daughter, elderly mother or father in those shoes.

Would you correct them? Would you explain to them why they should be more alert?

We are always reading people, in a mall, airport, train station, supermarket, doctor’s office and if you see a situation that doesn’t look right….”trust your gut” and leave.
