Teachers Send Positive & Uplifting Handwritten Notes to Students

In an effort to encourage and inspire students, WFMS teachers mailed hand-written notes with positive message to each student.

From William Floyd Schools: In an effort to encourage and inspire students, William Floyd Middle School teachers mailed hand-written notes with positive messages to each student earlier this month.

“We received an overwhelmingly positive response,” said Carolyn Schick, Principal, William Floyd Middle School. “Teachers have been sharing stories of students and parents thanking them for going above and beyond to make that personal connection.”

A sample of the responses includes, “Thank you for taking the time out of your day to write such a touching letter,” one parent wrote. “It literally brought tears to my eyes!” Another parent wrote, “I want to say thank you for the beautiful card you sent, I can’t tell you how proud it made us feel!”
