Toddler, 2, Pulled From Pool Unresponsive In Mastic, Taken To Stony Brook University Hospital: Police
She was found at around 5 p.m. at her home, Suffolk police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — Detectives are investigating after an incident in which a two-year-old toddler was found unresponsive in a pool in Mastic Beach Monday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
The girl was found unresponsive in a pool and removed from the pool at her home on Mill Drive at around 5 p.m., and then a family member performed Cardiopulmonary resuscitation until first responders arrived, according to police.
The toddler was taken to NYU Langone Hospital - Suffolk in East Patchogue in critical condition, and then transferred to Stony Brook University Hospital, police said.
