Tornado Warning In Effect For Suffolk County
The National Weather Service in Upton is advising resident to stay off the roads and take shelter.
MASTIC, NY — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Suffolk County until 4:30 p.m.
The tornado warning includes the eastern Brookhaven town from Mastic-Shirley and Calverton to further out east. The alert includes Hampton Bays, East Quogue and Springs on the South Fork, as well as Riverhead, Mattituck, Cutchogue, Southold, Jamesport, and Greenport. Officials are advising residents to stay off the inside their homes.
