VIDEO: NY Regional Champs, William Floyd Girls' Basketball Team, Sent Off With Fanfare To Final Four Upstate
The tip-off for the Final Four game will take place Thursday at the Hudson Valley Community College McDonough Sports Complex.

MASTIC BEACH, NY — The William Floyd High School Colonials' girls' varsity basketball team was sent off in style Wednesday morning for the Final Four of the state's tournament.
The team, whose members are the state's AAA regional champions, left Mastic Beach for the Aquinas Institute, feted with a rally featuring the high school's Pep Band, students, faculty, and staff.
Students lined the hallway from the west gymnasium to the north entrance, while the Pep Band, led by director Kimberly Hyland, played traditional fight songs.

Tip-off of the Final Four game will take place Thursday at 2:30 pm at the Hudson Valley Community College McDonough Sports Complex in Troy.
For anyone interested in attending the game in person, tickets cost $13.60 each, fees included, and can be purchased online in advance here.

The venue’s security procedures include bag searches and attendees may be required to pass through metal detectors.
Face coverings are not permitted inside the venue, but medical and religious exemptions will be honored. The game will also be streamed via the NFHS Network.
