WFHS Art Students Attend National Portfolio Day At Javits Center

The students had the opportunity to have their work evaluated by accredited art, film and design school professionals.

SHIRLEY-MASTIC, NY - From William Floyd School District: Recently, William Floyd High School advanced art students from Theresa Bianco’s classes attended “National Portfolio Day” at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City where they had the opportunity to have their work evaluated by accredited art, film and design school professionals, as well as meet one-on-one with admissions counselors from various schools such as the School of Visual Arts, Parsons, Fashion Institute of Technology and the Pratt Institute. Juniors also received valuable advice on their artwork to help better prepare them for their senior year.
