William Floyd Girls Track Team Has Record-Setting Season
The young student athletes garnered even more accolades recently.

MASTIC BEACH, NY — The William Floyd Girls varsity track team is on a roll, continuing with its record-setting season.
The young athletes garnered additional accolades at the division championships held recently at Connetquot High School.
Tatianna Kistner won the 100-meter dash and earned the title of Division I County Champion. Head coach John Ryan called it an “incredible accomplishment", noting that a ninth grader has not won the event in recent history.

Jade Foster medaled in the 200-meter day and the 400-meter dash and is now the Division I County Champion in the long jump. Also, Kaylah Britt placed second in the Triple Jump and sixth in the high jump competition, the district said.
