William Floyd High School Bowling Rolls Into County Championships
The team secured a spot in the county championship for the 12th consecutive season.

The William Floyd varsity bowling team has secured a spot in the county championship for the 12th consecutive season! The Colonials, under the leadership of Coach James Healey, finished their regular season with a second-place finish in League II (12-4).

This season, three of five starters earned All-League honors. Senior Juan Madera will graduate William Floyd with a plethora of awards including four consecutive seasons of All-League honors and two superior scores awards (game of 280+). Juan finished the season with an average of 205 (third overall for League II) and a high series of 701 (sixth overall in League II). Juan finishes his career at William Floyd with a massive 138 total individual wins and a win percentage of 73% since joining the team as a seventh grader.
Alex Ramoska earned All-League honors for a fourth consecutive season, finishing with a 214-average (second overall in League II) and high series of 727 (fourth overall in League II). Ramoska also threw his first perfect 300-game this season for the Colonials earning him USBC (United States Bowling Congress) honors. Joseph Tagliamonte also earned All-League accolades this year with an average of 194, a high game of 268 and finished with an impressive individual record of 36 wins and 12 losses.

Alex Hope finished the season with a 190-average and 34 individual wins. The team has strong young talent with eighth grader Nicholas Powers who finished the season with a 175-average and a high game of 220. Trinity Field finishes the season with an individual record of 9 wins and 3 losses. Brian Hodder, Colin Smith, Janelle Ramoska and Thomas Navins provide future prospects to help assure that the Colonials stay atop League II moving into next season.
Coach Healey has a record of 57 wins and 13 losses since he started coaching the Colonials, helping the team solidify its reputation as one of the top teams in Suffolk County.
