William Floyd School District: Central Registration Office Closed On September 10

The district’s Central Registration Office will be closed to visitors on Friday, September 10, 2021, in an effort to complete an influx of new student registrations. Central Registration has recently received nearly 700 registration requests and is working feverishly to get them completed in a timely manner. They will be completed in the order received.

In an effort to assist the process move along more swiftly, please have the following documents ready in advance for when a registrar reaches out to you:
- One attachment labeled PROOF OF RESIDENCY (with three photos of proof, click here for the chart.
- One attachment labeled CHILD’S NAME/BIRTH CERTIFICATE
- One attachment labeled CHILD’S NAME/IMMUNIZATIONS
- Your photo identification

For address changes within the district, please email centralregistration@wfsd.k12.ny.us with your photo identification, child’s name and proof of new address.
If you are withdrawing your child from the district:
- Elementary and middle school students – sign out at your child’s school building
- High school students or out-of-district placements (i.e. BOCES), please come to the office for a check-out form. Please note that the office is closed to the public on Friday, September 10.

Again, the office will be closed for in-person visitors on September 10, 2021. Please keep this in mind before calling or showing up to the office to check on the registration status, as multiple interruptions will cause further delays.
