William Floyd School District: Health Screening Reminder

Just a reminder that student health screenings have begun in buildings across the district. The health screening letter (linked here) went home in back-to-school mailings/packets in the late summer/beginning of the school year. Please note that these screenings are normally conducted each school year, but were on pause last year due to the pandemic. These screenings do NOT include the administration of any vaccination, which is NOT permissible by school nurses and outside the purview of their duties. The administration of medication, without express written consent from a physician, is also outside the purview of any school nurse.
