William Floyd School District: Secondary Winter Concerts Return

Winter concerts are back! After a one-year hiatus, secondary school winter concerts and art shows are back and in person beginning with William Paca Middle School on Tuesday, December 7, followed by William Floyd Middle School on Wednesday, December 8, and William Floyd High School on December 15 and December 21. All concerts will be held in the William Floyd High School auditorium and be available for viewing via livestream on the district’s YouTube channel. Masks will be required for all in attendance. Elementary concerts will resume in the spring.

The winter concert season kicks off with William Paca Middle School on Tuesday, December 7! This concert will be presented in two parts with the 7th and 8th Grade Orchestra and the 8th Grade Voce Verde Mixed Chorus kicking things off at 6:30 pm. After a brief intermission, the concert will conclude with performances by the 7th Grade Chorale and the 7th and 8th Grade Band beginning at 7:30 pm.

William Paca Middle School music teachers Ms. Forgit, Mr. Cordaro, Mrs. Seifert and Ms. Figalora-Torres look forward to having the students performing live and in person once again!

Then on Wednesday, December 8, William Floyd Middle School will host their winter concert in the same format in two parts with the first part of the concert beginning at 6:30 pm and featuring the 7th and 8th Grade Band and the 7th and 8th Grade Mixed Chorus. Then, after a brief intermission, the William Floyd Middle School concert will conclude with performances by the 7th and 8th Grade Orchestra and the 7th Grade Chorus beginning at 7:30 pm.
