William Floyd School District: Varsity Football Colonials Defeat Rival Longwood In Parkway Power Bowl X
The Colonials were dominant on the defensive side of the ball, totaling seven sacks and only allowing six points.

The William Floyd Colonials scored a huge 23-6 victory over longtime rival Longwood Lions in Parkway Power Bowl X. The win was the Colonials sixth-straight over Longwood, and improved their lifetime record in the annual Parkway Power Bowl to 8-2. They also improved to a perfect 3-0 on the season, good for first place in Division I.

QB Nick Taiani scores on a 25-yard run,
Junior running back Dylan Harris led the way on offense with 88 rushing yards on 22 carries and a touchdown. Senior Sonny Mayo also had 73 rushing yards and a touchdown and senior quarterback Nick Taiani added a 25-yard rushing touchdown of his own to help put the game out of reach.

The Colonials were dominant on the defensive side of the ball, totaling seven sacks and only allowing six points. Senior Brian Benson and junior Carlos Marquina had two sacks each. Defensive end Deontae Sykes led the Colonials with eight total tackles, three for a loss of yards and one sack. In total, William Floyd had 13 total tackles for loss in the game.
