Woman Leaves Her Baby In Car To Rob Shirley Bank: Police
The 20-year-old woman was arrested soon after the robbery Wednesday morning, police say. Her 10-month-old son was in her car.

SHIRLEY, NY – A 20-year-old woman left her 10-month-old son in her car while she robbed a bank in Shirley Wednesday morning, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, a woman entered Bridgehampton National Bank, located at 630 Montauk Highway, and presented a note demanding cash at about 9:50 a.m. The teller complied and the woman fled in a vehicle. Witnesses provided a description of the car to responding police officers and a short time later, police officers pulled over the woman on Lombardy Drive in Shirley, police said.
Following an investigation by Major Case Unit detectives, Madison Munoz, of Kent Road in Shirley, was arrested and charged with third degree robbery and endangering the welfare of a child. She will be held overnight for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip Thursday. Her son was released to family members and Suffolk County CPS was notified.
