Woman Trying To Steal From CVS Punches Employee: Cops
She fled in a waiting taxi, police say.

SHIRLEY, NY — Police are searching for a woman who tried to steal from CVS and punched a store employee, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and find the woman who's wanted for alleged petty larceny and harassment after she attempted to steal the merchandise from a Shirley store last year, police said.
The woman attempted to steal approximately $300 worth of merchandise from CVS, located at 964 Montauk Highway, on Dec. 10 at 1:45 p.m, police said.

When employees attempted to stop the woman, she pushed and punched a store employee, police said.
The woman, who had long red hair and was wearing a camouflage jacket and hat, fled in a waiting taxi, police said.
