Gifts for Moms and Single Side Up announce Parenting Paperless, a conference specifically for single parents
in North Texas. This conference is designed to give single parents the
tools they need to help their families be successful.
“We want to re-brand what it means to be a single parent! Statistics tell
one story; we are working to tell another one. This conference is just a
first step in rewriting the single parent story,” said Stephanie Ward, founder
of Gifts
for Moms.

Stephanie Ward founded Gifts for Moms when she realized that single parents are
often left out at holidays and even their birthdays. She makes sure that
single parents are celebrated. Diane Windsor is the leader of Single
Side Up (a program at This Side
Up! Family Center), which provides
practical support to single parents.
Stephanie states, “This conference is going to be a game changer. We are
moving from less power to more power as single parents, and this conference
offers the tools we need.”
