ST. JAMES, NY - One woman was hospitalized after a four-car crash in St. James on Monday afternoon.
The St. James Volunteer Fire Department responded to the crash on North Country Road right by the Deep Wells Mansion at about 3:27 p.m.
The woman was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with minor injuries.

All other motorists refused medical aid.
The scene was under control by 3:45 p.m. The road reopened a few minutes later.
